Dear Delegates, Sponsors, Parents, and Teachers,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 8th iteration of SPAMUN! My name is Roshin Sangha, and I am honoured to serve as Secretary-General for this year’s conference. Since our inception, SPAMUN has been committed to fostering a diplomatic environment where critical thinking and global awareness are available for students of all experience levels.
SPAMUN emphasizes accessibility, inclusivity, and academic growth through carefully designed committees that address relevant international and contemporary issues, along with fictional committees offered as a true challenge to delegates. Delegates are encouraged to engage in meaningful debate, strengthen skills in research, collaboration, and public speaking, and challenge their perspectives in a supportive environment.
Over the past months, the Secretariat team has worked diligently to ensure SPAMUN 2026 is a memorable experience for all. As you prepare for the conference, I encourage you to participate actively, engage fully, and remember that diplomacy is not a spectator’s sport. We look forward to welcoming you this fall and hope that you find SPAMUN’26 a rewarding conference where you meet new, like-minded individuals and find an everlasting passion for Model United Nations.
With warmest regards,
Roshin Sangha
Secretary-General
Southpointe Academy Model United Nations 2026
